Viewing Trips

We know from past experience that those that do take the time to visit Cape Verde, love the place, the people and the exceptional opportunity that the Property out there represents. So unsurprisingly the vast majority that go buy! However, getting to and from Cape Verde for very short periods is an expensive exercise – so it’s not ideally suited to those wanting to go out for a couple of days to investigate Property options.

To help, we want to try and make this an affordable option – by subsidising your visit – so that you can find out for yourself what it’s like – without significant financial risk or cost if you decide it’s not for you.

What we don’t want (and can’t afford to do) is provide these subsidised trips to those that just want a cheap short break, or those that don’t have realistic expectations of what they will find when they visit Cape Verde and look at available property.

So we want to approach this in the same way as we approach all of our dealings – let’s be open with each other.

What we expect of you

1. That before you go, we have together, identified property that you think is potentially suitable, and it is affordable in terms of your budget (with Finance as required)
2. That you recognise the prime objective of your visit is to look at these properties (although we also want to make sure you have a great time)
3. That you are in a position to make a Reservation deposit if you see property that you do want to purchase
4. That you have upto £3000 readily available on a Credit Card(s) to be able to confirm that reservation
5. That you are open and direct with us on what you think

What you can expect from us

1. We will look after you from the time you arrive until you leave
2. We will never pressure you into buying a property
3. We will ensure that you consider all of the implications of property purchase - not just look at the positives
4. We’ll look after your interests after you have returned as passionately as we do before.
5. We’ll be open with you and tell you what we think.
6. We’ll make the refund payment immediately on completion of the Trip.

We can do 3, 4 and 6 Day Inspection Trips (All Inclusive)

3 Day / 2 Night Direct from Gatwick - costs £499 per person which we subsidise down to £199 per person (Tue-Thu)

4 Day / 3 Night Indirect Via Lisbon costs £499 per person which we subsidise down to £199 per person (Anytime)

6 Day / 5 Night Direct from Gatwick costs £649 per person which we subsidise down to £349 per person (Thu-Tue)

(Note – where more than 2 people wish to go on a viewing trip – the subsidy may be reduced – details on application)

These are for trips which depart from Gatwick for Direct and Heathrow for Indirect. Air Transfers to Gatwick / Heathrow where required provided, at cost.

Payment terms

1. The full cost of the Inspection trip (pre-subsidy) must be paid at the time of firm booking
2. The Subsidy is refunded into your Account after completion of the Inspection Visit Report, which is done shortly before you leave for your return flight.

So an example – 2 people wish to go on the 3 day Inspection trip – from September to December

1. £998 is payable at the time of booking
2. £600 is refunded on completion of Report –from September to December
3. And if you do buy – a further £398 is refunded when you sign the main Developers Contract (PPC) and process the first phased payment
